I am a musician, educator, and scholar of privilege. As a trumpet performer and conductor, I promote the artistic activities of marginalized musicians through performance, education, and research. As a curator of past musical works and contemporary artists of privilege, I represent their music in context and juxtaposition of present musical experiences. Through my efforted and honed talents, I nurture diversity, inclusivity, and belonging in my artistic, musical, and educational activities.
